<br />RESOLUTION 05-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING STAFF TO EXECUTE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL <br />RESOURCES CONSERVATION PARTNERS AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />PARTNERSHIPS <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City of Elk River act as the legal sponsor for the Conservation <br />Partners Grant CP05-012 Highland Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City of Elk River has the fmancial capability to meet the match <br />requirements and ensure adequate completion of the project and <br />certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as <br />stated in the grant agreement; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Parks and Recreation Director Bill <br />Maertz is hereby authorized to execute the Conservation Partners Grant Agreement CP05- <br />012 necessary to implement the project on behalf of the City of Elk River. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 151 day of August 2005. <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />A TIEST <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br /> <br />s: \Resolutions\2005 Resolutions \ Unapproved\Dnr Grant.doc <br />
