Parks & Recreation Commission Minutes Page 2 <br />January 13, 2021 <br />----------------------------- <br /> <br />Commission discussed the trail connection from 195th Circle to the Great Northern <br />Trail and more information will be provided to the commission at a future date. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Niziolek and seconded by Commissioner Anderson <br />to recommend to City Council to accept staff recommendations that park <br />dedication for Reserve at Woodland Hills be paid for the final number of <br />dwelling units at final plat approval at the rate applicable when the <br />subdivision is released for recording. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Discuss at next meeting trail connection from 195th Circle to the Great Northern <br />Trail. <br /> <br />7.2 Donation Policy <br /> <br />Mr. Hecker shared his staff report. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Anderson and seconded by Commissioner <br />Holmgren to recommend to City Council to approve the Donation Policy. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />7.3 2021 Commission Meeting Calendar <br /> <br />Mr. Hecker shared his staff report. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Soltvedt and seconded by Commissioner Loidolt to <br />accept the 2021 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting schedule, meeting <br />on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Motion Carried 7-0. <br /> <br />8.1 Athletic Field Inventory <br /> <br />Mr. Hecker read his staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holmgren said that finding field dimensions has become a lot easier <br />with the use of a range finder and has offered to help measure the fields. <br /> <br />Chair Williams suggests having a special meeting for anyone interested in working on <br />the field inventory. <br /> <br />Commissioner Anderson requested getting surface area population and <br />demographics in addition to participation numbers. The information can be a useful <br />tool in the future. <br />
