Councilmember West�!aard introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution 21- 6 <br />A Resolution of the City of Elk River Approving Notice of Summary <br />Publication of Ordinance 21-? Amending Chapter #30 - Article III, <br />Residential Rental Property Standards, of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, <br />City Code <br />WHEREAS, on February 4, 2021, the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 21- 2 <br />amending Chapter 30, Article III, governing Residential Rental Property Standards of the <br />Elk River Code of Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the changes made to the ordinance: <br />adjust fees for new and renewed rental licenses, <br />■ reduce inspections for landlords/property management companies in good standing, <br />streamline the application process, <br />change payments to online or cashier's check only. <br />WHEREAS, a copy of the full text of the ordinance is available for inspection by any <br />person at the office of the Elk River City Clerk, 13065 Orono Parkway, during regular <br />business hours; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths <br />vote, authorizes the publication of the title and summary of Ordinance 21- <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Christianson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, Westgaard, Beyer, and Wagner <br />and the following against: none <br />resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />whereupon said <br />The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, <br />Westgaard, Beyer, and Wagner <br />and the following absent: none <br />Passed and adopted this Vt day of February 2021 <br />AT1.(V <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />/�) a) - <br />jo j. etz, or <br />'orEaII ®r' <br />NATURE <br />
