encourage and promote participation in activities focused on <br />enhancing the beauty of Elk River. <br />What skills, training, <br />and experience would <br />you bring to the <br />commission for which <br />you seek appointment? <br />First and foremost, I find myself as an outgoing individual who <br />can listen, be heard, and understand. I do well in building <br />working partnerships with local organizations to promote, <br />encourage and support participation. I would take those and <br />incorporate into the beautification projects and clean-up activities <br />to benefit our community. In my full time job, I work daily with <br />outside suppliers, negotiating, reviewing and starting new <br />contracts, and project management. I am able to think outside <br />the box when it comes to ideas, volunteer opportunities and team <br />engagement.
