Nate Ovall to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2021, <br />and expiring December 31, 2025. <br />2. Isaac Blaske to the Library Board for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2021, and expiring December <br />31, 2023. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Per the Advisory Board and Commission Policy, the Mayor shall make appointments to the Economic <br />Development Authority, Housing and Redevelopment Authority, and Library Board with approval of the Council. <br />Michelle Eder decided not to seek reappointment to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. The Mayor is <br />recommending Nate Ovall to fill Ms. Eder’s position. He is recommending Councilmember Wagner to fill <br />Councilmember Ovall’s Council representative position on the HRA. <br /> <br />State statute states “a library board member shall not be eligible to serve more than three consecutive three-year <br />terms”. Mary Eberley is finishing her third consecutive term and therefore is not eligible for reappointment. Staff <br />advertised for the position and received four great applications.
