Economic Development Authority Unutes Page 3 September 21,2020 ----------------------------- 7.3 2021 EDA Budget and Resolution Establishing EDA Levy Ms. Othoudt presented the staff report. Ms. Erickson presented an update on the Wetland Bank Creation. Commissioner Wagner indicated she believes $10,000 for WSB to provide drone footage for three parcels seems high and she is not in favor. She would be interested in working with Sherburne County on an economic development project and find out if they used a drone, do they have a drone, etc. Commissioner Blesener concurred. Ms. Othoudt explained the line item for the drone footage in the budget is $2,000 and has not changed. She stated there may be some cost savings with her position being vacant. Commissioner Wagner stated she has no problem paying$2,000 for marketing of these parcels but believes $10,000 for drone footage is too high even if there is cost savings from the vacant director position. . Moved by Commissioner Westgaard and seconded by Commissioner Christianson to adopt resolution 20-11 establishing the 2021 Economic Development Authority Tax Levy. Motion carried 7-0. 2l% 7.4 Orono Park Plat and EDA Owned Property Ms. Othoudt questioned if the EDA would like to continue with this item under the current time constraints. President Tveite indicated he would be in favor of waiting so there is more time to discuss. `Moved b Commissioner Christianson and seconded b Commissioner Y Y Wagner to postpone this item to the October 19 Economic Development Authority meeting. Motion carried 7-0. The EDA wished Ms. Othoudt the best of luck with her new position and thanked her for her work in Elk River. 8.
