Parks and Recreation Director Update <br /> <br />Mr. Hecker shared his staff report. Adding that City Council decided to go with red roof for <br />the shelter and to keep the Senior Center membership fees optional for 2020 and start <br />requiring the memberships in 2021. <br /> <br />11. Recreation Manager’s Update <br /> <br />Mr. Benoit presented his staff report and presented the Dog Park events. Sponsored by Chuck <br />and Don’s Pet Food and Spike’s Feed, Seed and Pet Supply. Also, noting that September set a <br />new record of 130 visitors daily at the Activity Center. <br /> <br />12. Announcements <br /> <br />Mr. Benoit announced that this year’s 20th Annual Family Spooktacular has been canceled due <br />to the impending weather forecast. It requires a fair amount of contractual purchases to make <br />it happen and didn’t want to invest the funds for a few that may attend. <br /> <br />13.
