. . . , NOTICE OF POBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF HEARING ON VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OF MAIN STREET Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Elk River at the Elk River Public Library on the 18th day of July, 1988, at 7:00 p.m. to hear all persons present upon the proposed vacation of that protion of the right-of-way of Main Street described as lying within the following described parcel: That part of the fOllowing described property lying Northerly of the South 75.00 feet, as measured at right angles thereof: That part of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 2, of the duly recorded Auditor's Addition, City of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Block 2; Thence Southeasterly along the North line of said Block 2 for 90.00 feet; Thence Southerly parallel with the East line of said Lots 1 through 4 inclusive for 243.00 feet; Thence Northeasterly along said West line of said Block 2, which point is 232.00 feet Southwesterly from said Northwest corner of Block 2; Thence Northeasterly along said West line of Block 2 for 232.00 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to that part thereof taken from Main Street being further described as that part thereof lying Northwesterly and Northerly of the following described line: Commencing at the point of intersection of two following described centerlines: . 1) A centerline 33.00 feet Westerly of, as measured at right angles to, said west line of Block 2; 2) A centerline 33.00 feet Northerly of, as measured at right angles to, said North line of Block 2; Thence Southwesterly along the first above described centerline for 168.86 feet; Thence Easterly at right angles for 33.00 feet to intersect said West line of Block 2, said point of intersection also being the actual point of beginning of the line to be hereby described; Thence Northeasterly along a curve, tangent to said West line of Block 2, concave to the Southeast, radius 166.70 feet, for a central angle of 80 degrees, 26 minutes, and length 234.02 feet, more or less, to intersect with and terminate at said North line of Block 2 at a point thereon described as 33.00 feet Southerly of, as measured at right angles to, a point on the/second above described centerline a distance of 168.86 feet Southeasterly of said point of intersection of said two above described centerlines, petitioned by Shane Groth of 1627 Main Street, Elk River, Minnesota.
