<br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />December 6, 1944 <br /> <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held in the Municipal building on December 6, <br />1944. <br /> <br />Members present, Davidson, Leger, Bailey and Briggs. <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Mayor Davidson. <br /> <br />Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Bailey and seconded by Briggs that the following amounts be allowed for <br />extra work in connection with the recent fire at the liquor store: Davidson $25.00, Leger $25.00, <br />Briggs $10.00. Motion carried. <br /> <br />It was decided to meet with the county commissioners at their next meeting in regard to use of the <br />county jail. <br /> <br />The following bills were allowed and ordered paid: <br /> <br />Ed Phillips & Sons – liquor - $106.43 <br />Geo.
