An application was received from Miss Carol Jean Briggs for the portion of life guard for the month <br />of June, July, and August. A motion was made by E.L. Shadick and seconded by Frank Nickerson <br />to hire Miss Carol Jean Briggs as life guard of a salary of $50.00 per month. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by G.A. Bailey to send a delegation to two to the League of Minnesota <br />Municipal Convention at Ely, Minnesota and to appropriate $100.00 for the expense of said <br />delegation.
