BY ORDER OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br /> <br />H.A. Briggs <br />Village Clerk <br />Village of Elk River, Sherburne County, Minnesota <br /> <br />4. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause official ballots to be prepared. Said <br />ballots shall be distributed to the election officials at the polling place for use at said election. They <br />shall be printed in black ink on lavender paper, if such color paper is obtainable, and the face thereof <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />OFFICIAL BALLOT <br />SPECIAL ELECTION <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 30, 1957 <br /> <br />Shall the Village of Elk River, Minnesota, issue its negotiable coupon general obligation bonds in an <br />amount not exceeding $120,000, for the purpose of constructing and equipping a new municipal <br />building? <br /> <br />YES <br />NO <br /> <br />INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS: If you wish to vote in favor of the above proposition, mark a <br />cross (x) in the square opposite the word YES. If you wish to vote against said proposition, mark a <br />cross (x) in the square opposite the word NO. <br /> <br />On the back of each ballot there shall be printed the words “OFFICIAL BOND BALLOT”, the <br />date of election, the facsimile signature of the Village Clerk, and lines for the initial of two judges. <br /> <br />5. The Village Clerk shall also provide the election officials with suitable tally sheets, poll lists, form <br />of official returns, ballot boxes, and other necessary supplies for the conduct of said election. <br />
