Request for Action <br />To <br />Item Number <br />Mayor and Ci r Council <br />4.11 <br />Agenda Section <br />Meeting Date <br />Prepared by <br />Consent <br />October 5, 2020 <br />Ron Nierenhausen, Chief of Police <br />Item Description <br />Reviewed by <br />Authorize Execution of Grant Agreement for <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Toward Zero Deaths Grant <br />Reviewed by <br />Action Requested <br />Adopt, by motion, a resolution authorizing execution of a grant agreement between the City of Elk River Police <br />Department and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. <br />Background/Discussion <br />The Elk River Police Department has been awarded $80,050 in grant money for Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) <br />enforcement.
