PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />This project included construction of a new station site on the 3M campus 14,786 sf <br />in Maplewood that houses four apparatus bays, departmental offices and <br />a police substation. It is the first Minnesota building to be built under the <br />2013 <br />International Green Construction Code° (IgCC), being built with environmental <br />sustainability and energy efficiency in mind. The site has rain gardens, native <br />plants and a solar reflective roof.
