Expand Energy City Insights program <br />to better educate our community and create <br />interactions. Partner with ERMU when applicable <br />and promote their rebates and services. <br />Increase education and outreach about Energy City. <br />Continue to increase Energy City Tours and local <br />partnerships including new partnership with MMPA <br />for education for high school students. Provide tours <br />when possible and find new ways to connect with <br />students. Attend BR&E visits to promote energy <br />programs and waste reduction. <br />Plan for city sustainability and climate mitigation projects and <br />programs, utilizing the partnerships gained from the Climate <br />Smart Municipalities program <br />Implement actions and track progress outlined in <br />Energy City Commission 10-year Action Plan by <br />working closely with other city departments. <br />Incorporate renewable energy or other conservation <br />options in new city construction projects (solar, <br />green roof, etc.). Work closely with Climate Smart <br />Municipalities program partners in Germany and <br />Minnesota to advance city sustainability and energy <br />efficiency. Although the program may end in 2020, <br />continue to utilize those partnerships. <br />Expand and utilize partnership with MMPA and ERMU <br />Continue working with ERMU and MMPA for <br />community education, grant programs, public <br />education and more. Continue with Clean Energy <br />Choice for purchase 100% renewable energy for all <br />city buildings in 2020.
