CommonBond Elk River Housing Limited Partnership — 19522 Holt St. <br />NW — continued from April 28, 2020 <br />■ Land Use Amendment from Highway Business to High Density Residential, <br />Case No. LU 20-02 <br />■ Preliminary Plat for a 60 -unit 3 -story apartment building to be known as Elk <br />Ridge Lodge, P 20-05 <br />■ Conditional Use Permit to establish a residential PUD, Case No. CU 20-07 <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. The applicant submitted a letter to the <br />Planning Commission requesting their applications be continued to the June 23, <br />2020, Planning Commission meeting. The applicant is setting up two public outreach <br />open houses at City Hall on June 3 and 4 for the neighboring residents and business <br />owners. Any public comment received between now and then will be included in the <br />June Planning Commission packet. <br />Moved by Commissioner Rydberg and seconded by Commissioner Thiel to <br />continue the requests by CommonBond Elk River Housing Limited <br />Partnership to the June 23, 2020, Planning Commission meeting. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br />6. Council Liaison Update <br />Councilmember Ovall provided an update on recent city council meeting items, <br />specifically the Twin Lakes Road apartment concept review, TogetherElkRiver <br />initiative to support local businesses, and the County Road 12 road improvement <br />project. <br />7. General Business <br />7.1. Lake Orono Restoration and Enhancement (LORE) Project <br />Review <br />Mr. Wisner and Ms. Erickson presented the staff report and reviewed a PowerPoint <br />presentation about the project. They stated legally the project needs to be reviewed <br />by the Planning Commission to ensure it aligns with the Comprehensive Plan as this <br />project is a capital improvement. <br />Moved by Commissioner Beise and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to <br />adopt Resolution 20-01 finding the Lake Orono Restoration and <br />Enhancement Project (LORE) to be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan <br />of the City of Elk River as outlined in the staff report. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br />r <br />O�EA[U1RoErJA'T' <br />
