• Multiple organizations/applicants may partner on projects and receive separate grants to pay <br /> for their specific involvement in shared efforts <br /> 2) There is limited eligibility for non-arts organizations: <br /> a) Priority will be given to projects that advance diversity, equity&inclusion <br /> b) Groups may continue to apply using a fiscal sponsor <br /> c) Municipalities are not eligible to apply,but can serve as fiscal agents <br /> Staff is working with the Central MN Arts Board and the artist on ways to apply for funding and still meet <br /> the goal of engaging the community through public art. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> The total cost of the public art initiative is $20,000 as proposed by the Milligan Studio. The EDA <br /> budgeted$5,000 in 2020 as a matching grant for a public art installation at their June 17, 2019, meeting. <br /> CMAB recommended staff work with the artist to apply for project grants in October and March totaling <br /> $10,000.
