<br />examples of my tree themed stained glass mosaics <br /> <br />B) Artistic Merit / Quality <br /> <br />I have been a professional artist for the past 20 years exhibiting my work internationally and having my <br />mosaics commissioned for several public spaces in the Midwest. I am currently creating the second of two <br />large-scale permanent mosaic features for the MSP International Airport Terminal 1 newly remodeled Valet <br />Lounge. This project has allowed me to pursue my mosaic work as a full-time career and retire from a 13 year <br />career as an art and design lecturer and instructor at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the University <br />of Wisconsin Stout. As a professional artist, I have had solo art exhibitions at Metropolitan State University and <br />the MacRostie Art Center in Grand Rapids and have participated in dozens of juried exhibitions. I received an <br />MFA in international art practice from UCA in the United Kingdom in 2005. I am a trained artist with several <br />years of experience working with architects, construction personnel and art consultants.
