<br /> <br />Workplace cleaning and disinfection protocol <br />Regular practices of cleaning and disinfecting have been implemented, including a schedule for routine cleaning <br />and disinfecting of work surfaces, equipment, tools and machinery, vehicles and areas in the work environment, <br />including restrooms, break rooms, lunch rooms, meeting rooms, checkout stations, locker rooms, and drop-off <br />and pick-up locations. Frequent cleaning and disinfecting is being conducted of high-touch areas, including <br />phones, keyboards, touch screens, controls, door handles, elevator panels, railings, copy machines, credit card <br />readers, delivery equipment, etc. General daily cleaning is completed by city custodial staff. Special meeting <br />cleaning will be completed by city staff facilitating the meeting. Employees are expected to maintain their own <br />office and workstation in a sanitized manner. <br />Appropriate and effective cleaning and disinfecting supplies have been purchased and are available for use in <br />accordance with product labels, safety data sheets and manufacturer specifications, and are being used with <br />required personal protective equipment for the product. Clorox wipes or other approved materials are available <br />for cleaning surfaces. Custodial staff will utilize at prescribed intervals an ionizing fogger upon receipt. The same <br />products will be used to disinfect all areas contacted by an employee diagnosed with COVID-19. <br />Drop-off, pick-up and delivery practices, and protocol <br />For city buildings not open to the public, signs with phone numbers are posted for delivery personnel to drop off <br />items. Upon delivery, the package will be left at the front door or foyer and the phone number shall be called to <br />inform employees. For city buildings open to the public, packages will be left behind the sneeze guard. <br />Employees will have latex gloves available for handling deliveries and shall follow general pandemic hygiene <br />protocols. Employees who make deliveries shall wear protective equipment and maintain safe social distancing <br />and hygiene protocols. <br />Communications and training practices and protocol <br />This Preparedness Plan was communicated by email from Human Resources and verbally by management staff <br />to all employees on June 16 and updated effected June 29 and necessary training was provided. Additional <br />communication and training will be ongoing by city email from Human Resources and verbally from <br />management staff and provided to all employees who did not receive the initial training. <br />Instructions will be communicated to all workers, including employees, temporary workers, staffing and, <br />independent contractors, subcontractors, vendors and outside technicians customers and guests about <br />protections and protocols, including: 1) social distancing protocols and practices; 2) drop-off, pick-up, delivery <br />and general in-store shopping; 3) practices for hygiene and respiratory etiquette; 4) recommendations or <br />requirements regarding the use of masks, face-coverings and/or face-shields by workers, customers, guests and <br />visitors will also be advised not to enter the workplace if they are experiencing symptoms or have contracted <br />COVID-19. <br />Managers and supervisors are to monitor how effective the program has been implemented by periodically <br />observing employee interactions and work, regularly reviewing sanitation and PPE supplies and frequently <br /> <br />
