Every commissioner hereby or <br />hereinafter appointed under this resolution or by authority hereof, shall before entering upon the <br />discharge of his duties take and subscribe to an oath that he will faithfully discharge the duties of the <br />office to which he is appointed. <br /> <br />This motion was seconded by Trustee Johnson and put to a vote. Briggs <br />Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />The Village Council of the Village of Elk River, County of Sherburne, State of Minnestoa, being in <br />th <br />Special Session duly called on the 11 day of July, 1947, all members being present, Councilman <br />Ellingson offered the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />That Whereas, the Village of Elk River is the owner of certain tract of land in Lot 1 of Auditor’s <br />Subdivision No. 3, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of Section 33, <br />Township 33, Range 26, at the point where said section line intersects the south line of Main Street <br />in the Village of Elk River; thence South along said section line a distance of 150 feet, thence West <br />at right angles to said section line to the East line of Park Street in Hastings Addition to the Village <br />of Elk River; thence North along the said east line of Park Street to the south line of Main Street <br />aforesaid; thence southeasterly along the south line of Main Street to the point of beginning; and <br /> <br />That Whereas, said land is not needed for any public purpose by said Village of Elk River; and <br /> <br />That Whereas, said land has been offered for sale by advertisement; and <br /> <br />That Whereas, the offer of Morris H. Wilson in the amount of $700.00 plus payment of the normal <br />sewer assessment against said land is the best offer received for land land and which offer is not <br />disproportionate to the reasonable value thereof. <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, By the Village Council of the Village of Elk River, that the above <br />described land is not needed for any public purpose by said village and that it is in the public interest <br />that said land be sold to Morris H. Wilson for the sum of Seven Hundred and 00/100 dollars plus <br />the normal sewer assessment against said land, and <br /> <br /> <br />
