Northway Academy <br />Ovarvia%nr <br />Northway Academy is a center -based early intervention autism service, which began in Central <br />Minnesota in 2018. The Department of Human Services has indicated there is additional need <br />state-wide for this service, specifically in many communities where there are no providers <br />available. Sherburne County has been identified as a priority expansion location by the <br />Department of Human Services. There are currently two centers open in Minnesota, one in St. <br />Cloud and the other in Sartell, MN. <br />Northway Academy offers an opportunity for individuals diagnosed with Autism as well as their <br />families, to receive evidence -based treatment and ongoing support and training. The goal is to <br />improve the quality of life of each individual receiving behavior services. The center will use <br />Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as the primary treatment approach. The treatment will be <br />directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and will be supervised by a Licensed Psychologist. <br />The center will operate as an outpatient clinic, where children will attend each day to work on <br />skill acquisition with registered behavior technicians. The center will be open Monday through <br />Friday during normal business hours. <br />
