HR Green is...
Established in 1913, HR Green, Inc. is employee owned. We
collaborate across geographies and markets to provide the
engineering, technical, and management solutions that connect
and shape communities and are driven by the commitment of our
clients.
HR Green brings a deep background in Minnesota transportation
and city engineering services to this team. Led by Tim Thoreen,
HR Green routinely conducts transportation planning and design
services for MnDOT and local governments in Minnesota. Most
recently, HR Green conducted a Highway io planning study for
MnDOT District 3 in the City of Big Lake. The objective was to
examine the possibility of intersection improvements (e.g. traffic
signals or reduced conflict "RCUTs") given the anticipated growth
of Big Lake and future demands for Highway 10. Similarly for this
project, HR Green will provide engineering expertise to understand
the implications of converting Highway 169 to a freeway segment
with interchanges. The implications go beyond traffic studies,
and include pedestrian or multimodal concerns and other city
infrastructure such as utilities and maintenance needs. HR Green
has transportation and water engineering professionals located in
Saint Paul, available to support planning and public engagement
needs with an understanding of the local context.
What we can do
H RGreen
HR Green has 14 offices in 8 states
HR Green offices are located throughout the United States in
California, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, South
Dakota, and Texas.
HR Green has continued to climb the
rankings on Engineering News Record's
(ENR) annual lists of top design and
ENR construction firms in the nation, coming
in at 204
TOP500
Design Firms
10 Comprehensive Plan Update I City of Elk River, Minnesota
Prepared by Houseal Lavigne
