Sherburne County Multi -Hazard Mitigation Plan, 2020 <br />Mitigation Strategies & Action Tyges <br />Following are the five types of mitigation Strategies that will be used i n the update of the Multi -Hazard <br />Mitigation Plan with examples of related mitigation actions. Minnesota HSEM recommends the use of <br />these mitigation strategies to be in alignment with the State plan and those recommended by FEMA. <br />The first four strategies listed are taken from the FEMA publications Loco! Mrhga;ion PktortmV <br />Handbook (2013) and Mrbgation ldeasz A Resourre for Reducing Risk to !Natural Hazards (zoz3).
