We purchased a
townhome on Wilson Circle with the hopes to retire there. If Planning thinks more commercial is
needed, I need to know why. More commercial near by will devalue my property. More single family
near by will give my property better value.
Especially in the times we are in when small businesses are not valued by our Governor as he is not for
opening up MN, why would Elk River need more commercial space? During my years of selling Real
Estate, the demographics of our aging home buying prospects are looking for:
• The ease and/or necessity of a one level design
• The preference and privacy of "detached" homes versus a shared wall with cluster housing
• The ability to choose options, upgrades, finishes etc. to customize to your decor and lifestyle
• Friendly neighbors that are in a similar age group
• The location being convenient to shopping and major highways
• Not to be located by light industrial commercial or other commercial.
I strongly object to more commercial near by our property!!!
Debbie Carlson
Your Trusted Referral Source
D: 763-234-8088 1 F: 763-241-9234 1 DebbieCarlson@edinarealty.com
Edina I,e^ ty l,efeIn,ail I etwoi,k
"For hie hiimself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall
of separation" Ephesians 2:14
