Comments to Amanda from Various Businesses
Tami at Olde Main Eatery
■ She would like to see restaurants open up by 40% - 50%
■ There is no sidewalk for her to use for outdoor seating
■ Does not make sense to close down Main Street or Jackson Street as it would take her too long to get
food to people seated along those corridors (food would get cold)
■ Like to see some picnic tables/seating in the medium by the farmers market
■ If she can set out tables — would the city provide them?
■ Having 4 tables outside would not help her bring more employees back to work
Randy at Blue Egg Bakery
■ He is not really impacted by the Gov. order
■ He does NOT want to see food trucks! There are plenty of restaurants to go to
Tim at Aegir
■ More outdoor seating would be great
■ Primary concern is bathroom use, would the city provide bathroom options so that customers don't
need to enter bars/restaurants?
Antiques Downtown offered Olde Main Eatery some outdoor space.
