River, MN 55330 <br /> <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br /> <br />In 2004, the City of Elk. River adopted a new Comprehensive Plan. In that Comprehensive <br />Plan, property you own was been re-guided from Low Density Residential to a combination <br />of Commercial, Industrial and Open Space (see enclosed land use map). <br /> <br />In order to bring the City's Zoning Map into compliance with the new land use designations, <br />the City of Elk. River is processing a Zoning Map Amendment. This map amendment would <br />change the zoning classification of your property from Residential to both Commercial and <br />Business Park, with the remainder remaining Residential. The City Council will discuss this <br />issue at their July 18, 2005 City Council meeting.
