Washington County Big Marine Park Reserve. Civil engineering <br />design and coordination for this project including preliminary <br />design, preparation of civil construction documents, and <br />provided in -construction services during the construction phase <br />of the project. He worked closely with the owner, contractor, and <br />permitting agencies to help make this a successful project. <br />MnDNR Tettegouche State Park Visitor Center and Rest Area. <br />Mike provided site civil engineering design and coordination <br />for this project including preliminary design, preparation of civil <br />construction documents, and construction -related services. <br />City of Saint Paul Samuel Morgan Regional Trail. Provided all civil <br />engineering services for this 1.5-mile-long regional trail along the <br />Mississippi River, including storm sewer design, grading, parking <br />lot design, utility and erosion control design, and permitting. He <br />also provided bidding and in -construction services. <br />RACHEL BURAND I SITE DESIGN <br />Rachel is an experienced landscape architect, <br />with completed work ranging from plaza design <br />to park system master plans to riverfront <br />landscape restoration. She has provided site <br />!� design, parks and trail planning, and community <br />input analysis on projects. Rachel is skilled at <br />working collaboratively with clients from initial sketch concepts <br />through the process to final construction. Her expertise in GIS site <br />analysis and inventory lends a detail -oriented and pragmatic <br />approach to design evident in many of her projects. <br />Project Experience <br />City of St. Michael Town Center Park. Assisted with the park <br />design, graphics, and public engagement on the planning <br />and development of a new signature park. Park programming <br />elements will include a large multi -purpose open lawn space to <br />be used for special City events and large group picnicking, a water <br />splash pad and destination play area, a restroom and changing <br />room building, and picnic shelters which can be reserved for small <br />group gatherings. <br />City of Plymouth Meadows Park. Provided park design, <br />construction document support, facilitated group discussions, and <br />assisted at public open house meetings. <br />Dakota County Mississippi River Regional Trail Pine Bend Bluffs <br />Trailhead. SRF worked closely with Dakota County and Minnesota <br />DNR staff to design a trailhead that was both aesthetically pleasing <br />and function for trail users and visitors. It was also important that <br />it met the requirements of the DNR for establishing a trail facility <br />within the boundaries of an SNA. Rachel provided graphics and <br />construction document support for the project. <br />Douglas County Kensington Rune Stone County Park Master <br />Plan. After doubling in size over the last decade, the park required <br />additional design and planning to incorporate a new property into <br />the park plan. The park master plan focused on identifying a site <br />and concept for a new visitor center and updating the pedestrian <br />and vehicular circulation throughout the park. Rachel assisted with <br />design development and created plan graphics for the county <br />park master plan. <br />City of Duluth Lincoln and Memorial Parks Mini -Master Plans. <br />Assisted with design development and created plan graphics for <br />two existing city parks in Duluth. <br />STEVE MCHENRY, PE I ELECTRICAL DESIGN <br />31 Steve is an experienced electrical engineer with <br />30 years of design in electrical engineering. <br />Steve has expert knowledge in solar power <br />systems for portable equipment and small-scale <br />(<4kW) off -grid installations including battery <br />power (FLA, AGM, GEL) and inverter/UPS <br />variations. He is also familiar with grid -tie solar power systems, <br />small-scale wind energy, and fuel -cell systems. Steve provides <br />electrical and lighting design for all of SRF's projects. <br />Project Experience <br />Rice Park Reconstruction, St. Paul. Steve led the design for new <br />lighting and electrical distribution plan for the reconstruction of <br />Rice Park in St. Paul. The design included updating all the electrical <br />systems while minimizing above ground facilities and enhancing <br />the lighting with pole mounted, bollard and holiday lighting <br />functions. The project also included power and communications <br />options for Winter Carnival, concerts and other events. <br />Dakota County Mississippi River Regional Trail Pine Bend <br />Bluffs Trailhead. Steve led the design of a for new lighting and <br />electrical distribution for trailhead project through a Minnesota <br />DNR Scientific Natural Area in Inver Grove Heights. The design <br />included LED lighting with special selection of color temperature <br />for the park setting. CCTV and security system were also part of <br />Steve's design function. <br />Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Mississippi East Bank <br />Trail. Steve led the design for trail lighting to extend the trail <br />from Boom Island Regional Park to Sheridan Memorial Park and <br />a new Scherer Park site. The lighting design required special <br />consideration for Broadway Avenue bridge underpass, optimizing <br />lighting design while under the constraint of pole height limits <br />due to a large overhead power line and LED color temperature <br />selection. <br />Three Rivers Park District Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area. <br />Steve led the design for site electrical power, lighting and <br />communications. Lighting included new LED parking lot lighting <br />along with area and specialty lighting for plaza and ski hill areas. <br />Communication design included infrastructure design for phone <br />line, fiber communications and parking lot access/revenue control <br />system with remote server hardware/software and parking status <br />notification to variable message signs. <br />SRF CONSULTING GROUP CITY OF ELK RIVER // Active Elk River Park Improvements 11 <br />
