TIM WOLD, PLA I PROJECT MANAGER
<br />Tim has been practicing landscape architecture and urban design for 21 years. He has a wide range of
<br />project experience that includes neighborhood and community park planning and design, athletic
<br />complexes, trail system planning, site design, urban streetscapes and plazas, and natural resource -based
<br />state and regional parks. Tim has successfully managed a number of multi -million dollar park and athletic
<br />complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams from the initial planning stages through construction. He
<br />works with a wide variety of clients and enjoys collaborating with design professionals from other
<br />disciplines.
<br />As our project manager, Tim will be the City's main point of contact, be responsible for managing project
<br />delivery and the team, and lead construction observation.
<br />Project Experience
<br />City of Otsego Parks, Minnesota. Tim has assisted the City
<br />with development of numerous park properties including
<br />several neighborhood parks, a splash pad within Prairie Park,
<br />and development of a boat launch within a special use park
<br />on the Mississippi River. Services spanned programming and
<br />development of concepts, stakeholder engagement, design
<br />development, preparation of construction documents, to
<br />construction oversight.
<br />City of St. Michael Town Center Park, Minnesota. SRF is working
<br />with the City of St. Michael on the planning and development of
<br />their civic gathering and special event campus. Key program
<br />elements include a large multi -purpose open lawn space, splash
<br />pad with restroom/changing room building, destination play
<br />area, and picnic shelters which can be reserved for small group
<br />gatherings. Tim provided conceptual design, public engagement,
<br />and cost estimation services.
<br />City of Otsego Northwood Park, Otsego, MN. The City of Otsego
<br />commissioned SRF to prepare a master plan and construction
<br />documents for this neighborhood park. Amenities within the park
<br />include K-5 and pre-K play areas, a picnic pavilion, a basketball
<br />court that is convertible to pickleball, and a 200' ballfield with
<br />backstop, players benches, and limited spectator seating.
<br />Avonlea Community Park, Lakeville, Minnesota. The City of
<br />Lakeville commissioned SRF to prepare concepts, schematic
<br />grading plan, cost estimates, and assist with community
<br />engagement for this 40 acre community park. Key amenities
<br />include several grass multi -use green fields, an artificial turf multi-
<br />use field, a premier baseball field, pickleball courts, a destination
<br />play area and splash pad, and restroom/concessions buildings.
<br />Other features include a youth challenge course, adult fitness
<br />equipment, and a lighted loop trail system. The site, located on
<br />Cedar Avenue, provides a central location within the city for youth
<br />tournaments and offers good access for vehicular and pedestrian
<br />circulation. Based on feedback received from staff, community
<br />members, the Park and Recreation Commission, and City Council,
<br />SRF prepared a preferred master plan for the park.
<br />Three Rivers Park District French Regional Park Creative Play
<br />Area, Plymouth, Minnesota. SRF worked closely with Three
<br />Rivers Park District staff and a diverse group of stakeholders,
<br />including a fourth -grade class from a local elementary school,
<br />in developing a new destination play area within this extremely
<br />popular regional park. The play area site afforded opportunities
<br />to use grade changes to provide accessible circulation to the
<br />upper level of the play structure via walls and elevated ramps. Key
<br />features of the play area include a three -level tower with slides
<br />and climbers, an extensive system of climbing nets, multi-user
<br />swings, a sand/water play node, mist towers, and a playhouse for
<br />younger children.
<br />City of Roseville Parks Renewal, Minnesota. SRF collaborated
<br />closely with City staff and a multidisciplinary consultant team to
<br />renovate twelve neighborhood and community parks within a
<br />citywide parks renewal program. Projects ranged from complete
<br />renovations to reconstruction of individual tennis courts and
<br />fields. SRF provided landscape architecture, water resource,
<br />and electrical design services from design development through
<br />preparation of construction documents, including permitting and
<br />cost estimation.
<br />City of West St. Paul Harmon Park, Minnesota. West St.
<br />Paul commissioned SRF to develop a master plan for the
<br />redevelopment of Harmon Park, the city's oldest park. As project
<br />manager, Tim led the design process, oversaw preparation of
<br />construction documents, and provided in -construction services.
<br />Washington County Lake Elmo Winter Recreation Facility,
<br />Minnesota. SRF collaborated with an architect, construction
<br />manager, and County staff to develop a new trailhead facility,
<br />cross country ski trails and trail lighting system for evening
<br />cross country skiing. A second phase of development included
<br />improving pedestrian and vehicular circulation, developing a new
<br />parking lot to serve users of the trailhead facility, and providing a
<br />patio with stone fire pit and seating.
