UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Chris Kerzman Engineering Manager <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />April 14, 2020 6.1k <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />After review of the bids by our engineering consultant, the power plant transformer <br />contract has been awarded to Dakota Supply Group, Inc. (DSG) for the purchase of a <br />WEG transformer for $130,500. Please note that the meeting minutes from March <br />expand on these details. DSG has signed off the contract agreement and it has been <br />returned to ERMU for signature, also they have entered the order with the WEG factory. <br /> <br />Power System Engineering is continuing with design work and preparations for the <br />modifications required to relocate the power plant substation. <br /> <br />The Field Services Building Expansion meeting on March 16 with the architect was <br />postponed. The meeting has been rescheduled as a video conference call on April 15 at <br />10:30 am. The Field Services Building workgroup is invited to attend electronically. <br /> <br />IT/OT applications have been reviewed and three applicants have been selected for <br />interviews, which are scheduled for April 13-15. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />216 <br />
