Notice of Hearing on Proposed Local Improvement February 1, 1960 st Notice is hereby given that the Village Council will conduct a public hearing on the 1 day of February, 960, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Room of the Municipal Building in said Village upon the following described proposed local improvements. 1. The construction of an extension of the sanitary sewer system in these areas described as follows: th Commencing at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and 4 Street in said Village of Elk River at the th point where 4 Street extends East from Jackson Avenue; thence Northerly on and along Jackson Avenue a distance of approximately 500 feet and there terminating; and commencing at the thth intersection of 4 Street and Jackson Avenue where 4 Street extends West from Jackson Avenue in th the Village of Elk River; thence East on and along 4 Street to the intersection thereof with Lowell Avenue and there terminating. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is the property abutting on such streets. The estimated cost of such improvement is $12,000.00. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the improvement will be heard at said meeting. 2. The construction of a 100,000 gallon elevated water tank and the construction of an extension of the water main in the following area, to-wit: Commencing at the intersection of Main Street and Upland Avenue in the Village of Elk River; th thence Northwesterly on and along Upland Avenue to the intersection of 5 Street; thence Westerly th on and along 5 Street a distance of 500 feet, more or less, and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Main Street and Tipton Avenue in said Village of Elk River; thence Northwesterly on and along Tipton Avenue to the intersection thereof with Upland Avenue; thence Northerly on Upland Avenue across United States Highways No. 10 and 52 to the intersection thereof with the Meadowvale Road; thence Southeasterly on and along the Meadowvale Road to the thth intersection thereof with 8 Street; thence Easterly on and along 8 Street to the intersection thereof with Quinn Avenue; thence Southerly on and along Quinn Avenue to the intersection thereof with thth 6 Street; thence Easterly on and along 6 Street to the intersection thereof with Proctor Avenue th and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Quinn Avenue and 6 Street; thence th West along 6 Street to the intersection thereof with Rush Avenue and there terminating; also thth commencing at the intersection of Upland Avenue and 8 Street; thence Westerly along 8 Street to the intersection thereof with Xenia Avenue; thence Northerly along Xenia Avenue to the intersection thereof with Wand Road; thence Westerly along Wand Road a distance of approximately 400 feet and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Wand Road and Upland Avenue; thence Southeasterly on and along Wand Road to the intersection thereof with th 8 Street and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Upland Avenue with the Northerly right of way line of United States Highways No. 10 and 52; thence Westerly on and along the said Northerly right of way line a distance of 300 feet, more or less, and there terminating; also th commencing at a point approximately 200 feet East of the intersection of 8 Street of Meadowvale Road; thence North a distance of 600 feet, more or less, to the proposed location of the elevated water tank and there terminating.
