<br />Notice of Hearing on Proposed Local Improvement <br />February 1, 1960 <br /> <br />st <br />Notice is hereby given that the Village Council will conduct a public hearing on the 1 day of <br />February, 960, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Room of the Municipal Building in said Village upon the <br />following described proposed local improvements. <br /> <br />1. The construction of an extension of the sanitary sewer system in these areas described as <br />follows: <br />th <br />Commencing at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and 4 Street in said Village of Elk River at the <br />th <br />point where 4 Street extends East from Jackson Avenue; thence Northerly on and along Jackson <br />Avenue a distance of approximately 500 feet and there terminating; and commencing at the <br />thth <br />intersection of 4 Street and Jackson Avenue where 4 Street extends West from Jackson Avenue in <br />th <br />the Village of Elk River; thence East on and along 4 Street to the intersection thereof with Lowell <br />Avenue and there terminating. <br /> <br />The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is the property abutting on such streets. <br />The estimated cost of such improvement is $12,000.00. Such persons as desire to be heard with <br />reference to the improvement will be heard at said meeting. <br /> <br />2. The construction of a 100,000 gallon elevated water tank and the construction of an <br />extension of the water main in the following area, to-wit: <br />Commencing at the intersection of Main Street and Upland Avenue in the Village of Elk River; <br />th <br />thence Northwesterly on and along Upland Avenue to the intersection of 5 Street; thence Westerly <br />th <br />on and along 5 Street a distance of 500 feet, more or less, and there terminating; also commencing <br />at the intersection of Main Street and Tipton Avenue in said Village of Elk River; thence <br />Northwesterly on and along Tipton Avenue to the intersection thereof with Upland Avenue; thence <br />Northerly on Upland Avenue across United States Highways No. 10 and 52 to the intersection <br />thereof with the Meadowvale Road; thence Southeasterly on and along the Meadowvale Road to the <br />thth <br />intersection thereof with 8 Street; thence Easterly on and along 8 Street to the intersection thereof <br />with Quinn Avenue; thence Southerly on and along Quinn Avenue to the intersection thereof with <br />thth <br />6 Street; thence Easterly on and along 6 Street to the intersection thereof with Proctor Avenue <br />th <br />and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Quinn Avenue and 6 Street; thence <br />th <br />West along 6 Street to the intersection thereof with Rush Avenue and there terminating; also <br />thth <br />commencing at the intersection of Upland Avenue and 8 Street; thence Westerly along 8 Street to <br />the intersection thereof with Xenia Avenue; thence Northerly along Xenia Avenue to the <br />intersection thereof with Wand Road; thence Westerly along Wand Road a distance of <br />approximately 400 feet and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Wand Road <br />and Upland Avenue; thence Southeasterly on and along Wand Road to the intersection thereof with <br />th <br />8 Street and there terminating; also commencing at the intersection of Upland Avenue with the <br />Northerly right of way line of United States Highways No. 10 and 52; thence Westerly on and along <br />the said Northerly right of way line a distance of 300 feet, more or less, and there terminating; also <br />th <br />commencing at a point approximately 200 feet East of the intersection of 8 Street of Meadowvale <br />Road; thence North a distance of 600 feet, more or less, to the proposed location of the elevated <br />water tank and there terminating. <br /> <br /> <br />
