G.A. Bailey seconded by Wm Patenaude to have a one inch meter installed in Ernest Shadicks house <br />without charge. The Clerk to send for two, one inch meters from the Pittsburgh Meter Co. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Wm Greupner, Clerk reported that Ed Belanger who has been taking care of the Water meters is <br />unable to continue working for the Village because he is employed at other work. After some <br />discussion it was decided to have the Clerk see Lee Slaybeck about taking Mr. Belangers place. <br /> <br />Mr. P.V. Christens milk application was presented with Dr. Kiebels approval. A motion was made <br />by G.A. Bailey seconded by Geo Cornelius to allow P.V. Christen a license to sell milk and cream. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Leo Demars and Mr. Haenze asked if it would be possible for the Village to tarvia Thomas Street <br />from Depot Street to the railroad tracks. They were told that the Village was not able to do this at <br />the present time but chances were that the county might tarvia this street. <br /> <br />The clerk was instructed to see Frank White if it was necessary for the Village to draw up a traffic <br />ordinance for speeding or if this was taken care of by the new laws which were passed by the state. <br /> <br />Geo Cornelius and G.A. Bailey were appointed to look into the matter about putting up a stop sign <br />on Main and Princeton Street. <br /> <br />A motion was made by G.A. Bailey seconded by Geo Cornelius to allow the following bills and <br />order them payed. <br /> <br />E.R. Power and Lt Co – light and power 225.84 <br />N.W. Bell Tele Co – tele rent 2.80 <br />Miller Davis Co – supplies 5.87 <br />Ed Belanger – labor 3.60 <br />Central Lbr Co – fuel 19.30 <br />Fred Ayer – saly janitor 20.00 <br />Fred Ayer – fire call 14.00 <br />Dr R. W. Kiebel – services 2.50 <br />A.N. Dare and Son – printing 2.50 <br />Chas Roggatz – drayage 1.00 <br />Harold Sykes – school police 10.00 <br />Harold Keays – labor at parks 7.50 <br />R.E.
