<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />November 3, 1941 <br /> <br />A regular meeting was held at the Municipal Bldg on November 3, 1941 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: <br /> M.C. Tesch, Pres; Frank Nickerson, E.L. Shadick, and G.A. Bailey, Trustees; J. <br />Clinton Walker, Clerk <br /> <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br />Mr. J.E. Hamlett presented figures showing the cost of construction of the sidewalk just completed <br />on Line Street. <br /> <br />After some discussion a motion was made by E.L. Shadick and seconded by G.A. Bailey to charge <br />the property owner 25 cents a running foot for curb and 14 cents a square foot for sidewalk on the <br />projects just completed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Arthur Leger applied for a license for two pool tables at the Golden Pheasant. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Frank Nickerson and seconded by G.A. Bailey granting the license. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />A motion was made by G.A. Bailey and seconded by Frank Nickerson allowing the following bills: <br /> <br />E.R.
