This Handbook and the <br />policies contained or referenced in the Handbook supersede and replace previously-issued <br />handbooks, contrary oral or written statements of employment policy, and contrary <br />employment practices. <br /> <br />I understand that the Employee Handbook may be amended at any time, with or without <br />notice. I understand that I do not have a protected property interest in my employment <br />with the Utilities. I also understand that neither this Handbook nor any provision in it <br />creates a contract of employment for any particular duration between the Utilities and me. <br /> <br />I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to become and remain informed about the <br />employment policies and practices of the Utilities and to abide by the rules, regulations, <br />standards and policies of the Utilities, including those contained in this Handbook.
