".....,.;....:-; <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT (1992-1993) <br /> <br />TillS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of <br />hereinafter referred to as the "City" and the County of Wright <br />to as the "County". <br /> <br />Elk River <br />hereinaf ter <br /> <br />referred <br /> <br />WlIEREAS, it is deemed to the bes t interes t of all parties tha t the duties and <br />responsiblities of both the City and the County as to maintenance on Bridge 6865i5 and Its <br />approaches should be clearly defined, <br /> <br />NOW TlIEREFORE, IT IS AGREED with regard to saId structure maintenance: <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />CITY RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br />(I) Maintenance of street lIghts <br />(2) Removal of snow from sIdewalk <br />(3) Maintenance of slopes/berms and roadway on north <br />approach (includes: turf maintenance, bituminous <br />maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance) <br />(4) Periodic sweeping to remove sand and debris and <br />removIng sand/dirt from expansion joints. <br />(5) Removal of markings/spray paint etc. from visible <br />surfaces of bridge structure <br /> <br />COUNTY RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br />(I) Snow and ice control for bridge and approaches <br />(2) SignIng for bridge and approaches <br />(3) Maintenance of slopes/berms and roadway on south <br />approach (includes: turf maintenance, bituminous <br />maInteoance, drainage and riprap maintenance) <br />(4) CenterlIne and edge pavement marking (includes stop <br />bar). <br /> <br />The agreement between the City and County shall be for a two year period and run from <br />January I, i992 to Oecember 31, 1993.
