TRAVEL AND TRAINING TIME <br />Employees are paid for time spent in training related to their position with the Utilities, <br />which must be approved in advance by the supervisor. <br />Employees will be paid for their time spent traveling in the following circumstances. <br />1. When a non-exempt employee is engaged in travel which keeps the <br />employee away from home overnight andwhich cuts across a regular <br />workday; <br />2. When a non-exempt employee travels to a special one-day work assignment <br />in another city that does not require an overnight stay; <br />3. When a non-exempt employee spends time traveling as part of the <br />4. When a non-exempt employee spends time traveling between home and <br />5.
