SCHEDULE 2 - STANDARD CONTRACTS <br />12.2.Emergency Conditions. Under emergency conditions, the Area EPS Operator may <br />immediately suspend interconnection service and temporarily disconnect the <br />Distributed Energy Resource. The Area EPS Operator shall use Reasonable Efforts to <br />notify the Interconnection Customer promptly when it becomes aware of an <br />Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Interconnection <br />Customer shall use Reasonable Efforts to notify the Area EPS Operator promptly <br />when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected <br />extent information is known, the notification shall describe the Emergency Condition, <br />the extent of the damage or deficiency, the expected effect on the operation of both <br />corrective action. <br /> <br />12.3.Temporary Interruption. The Area EPS Operator may interrupt interconnection <br />service or curtail the output of the Distributed Energy Resource and temporarily <br />Distribution System when necessary for routine maintenance, construction, or repairs <br />Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with three (3) Business <br /> prior to such interruption. The Area EPS Operator shall use Reasonable <br />Efforts to coordinate such reduction or temporary disconnection with the <br />Interconnection Customer. <br /> <br />12.4.Forced Outage. During any forced outage, the Area EPS Operator may suspend <br />interconnection service to effect immediate repair <br />Distribution System. The Area EPS Operator shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide <br />the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the Area <br />EPS Operator shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written <br />documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection. <br /> <br />12.5.Adverse Operating Effects. The Area EPS Operator shall notify the Interconnection <br />Customer as soon as practicable if, based on Good Utility Practice, operation of the <br />Distributed Energy Resource may cause disruption or deterioration of service to other <br />customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Distributed <br />ystem <br />or Affected Systems. Supporting documentation used to reach the decision to <br />disconnect shall be provided to the Interconnection Customer upon request. If, after <br />notice, the Interconnection Customer fails to remedy the adverse operating effect <br />within a reasonable time, the Area EPS Operator may disconnect the Distributed <br />Energy Resource.
