Executive Summary <br />The wellhead protection (WHP) plan for the ERMU of the City of Elk River presents the actions <br />that will be taken to manage potential contamination sources that may present a risk to the <br />Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) under authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, section <br />1031.101, subdivision 5 and through Minnesota Rules Chapter 4720.5100 to 4720.5590 relating <br />to WHP planning. <br />The ERMU is located in the City of Elk River, county of Sherburne and relies on nine primary <br />wells that draw water from the Eau Claire- Mt.
