The main goals of this <br /> vision are to improve safety,reduce congestion, and improve freight mobility while encouraging <br /> economic development. <br /> The purpose of the TH 25 Area Study is to identify near and long-term improvements that address <br /> current and future transportation issues on TH 25 between I-94 and TH 10, and accommodate future <br /> community growth in Becker,Becker Township,Big Lake, Big Lake Township, and Monticello. <br /> Additional study goals include: <br /> 1. Gain consensus on locally recommended improvements with coalition members and public. <br /> 2. Develop an implementation plan that prioritizes projects and identifies potential funding sources <br /> and avenues to secure these funds. <br /> 3. Further refine future vision into smaller, manageable and deliverable projects. <br /> Study Partners Include: City of Becker, Becker Township, City of Big Lake,Town of Big Lake, City of <br /> Monticello, Sherburne County,Wright County, and MnDOT. <br /> Regular business meetings are 7:30-9:00 a.m. on the last Thursday of each month at the Sherburne <br /> County Government Center.
