Recognize the promotion of Detective Andrew Zabee to the position of Patrol Sergeant effective <br /> December 16, 2019. <br /> 2. Mayor Dietz to administer the oath of office to Detective Andrew Zabee. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> The patrol sergeant position has been vacant since March 29, 2019, following the retirement of Sergeant <br /> Justin Ege. <br /> After an internal process,Andrew Zabee has been selected to be promoted to the rank of patrol sergeant. <br /> The patrol sergeant is responsible for daily supervision of patrol officers. <br /> Detective Zabee is exceptionally qualified as a 12-year veteran of the department;he has earned a number <br /> of department awards and accommodations.
