Consensus was provided for the steel frame
Poligon Chelsea-style pavilion with a steel roof.
The Commission recommended,by a 3-2 vote, at their June meeting, a red roof for Lion John Weicht
Park and a nature-tone roof color to be decided by the Woodland Trails Regional Park Grant Committee.
City Council discussed picnic pavilion roof colors at their July 1 meeting and did not reach a consensus.
Staff received new information regarding warranties and roof color was again discussed at the August 14
Parks and Recreation Commission meeting. After much deliberation,it was recommended by a 4-3 vote
to limit the roof color choices to the following three: Mansford Brown,Brite Red and Hartford Green.
The three colors were presented in larger samples to City Council at the September 16 work session for
discussion. Consensus was to think about the options and continue discussion to provide direction at the
October 7 work session.
Financial Impact
N/A
Attachments
■ None
The Elk River Vision
A PehoMing community 2a itb revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional POWERED By
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity INAMIRE1
