Presentation of funds raised by the Liquor Operation for the Fire Department. <br /> 2. Accept,by resolution, all cash and silent auction donations. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> Coors approached the Minnesota Municipal Beverage Association regarding a hyper-localized Fire <br /> Department fundraiser. <br /> Staff decided this would be good recognition and an opportunity to support our Fire Department. We <br /> asked customers if they wanted to make a monetary donation at time of purchase,physical items were <br /> donated for a silent auction, and the Liquor Operation pledged a dollar per case sold of Coors during the <br /> promotional period (8/1/19- 9/11/19). <br /> An event was held at Northbound Liquor on Friday, September 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.,which included a <br /> ladder truck,Thailon food truck, and silent auction items.
