10/13/15 <br /> Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities SERVICE REQUIREMENTS <br /> COMMERCIAL <br /> 13069 Orono Parkway DEVELOPER/BUILDER <br /> P.O.Box 430 <br /> Elk River,MN 55330 <br /> Phone: 763.441.2020 <br /> 1) ELECTRIC <br /> a) Developer shall complete the Commercial&Industrial Service Agreement. <br /> b) Provide 3 plat maps 11"X 17"with easement and GPS shape files of development. <br /> c) Meet with Electric Line Superintendent to finalize scope of project and establish estimate of charges for <br /> facility. These costs are generally one half of Elk River Municipal Utilities (ERMU) costs to electrically <br /> serve the facility. <br /> d) Prepayment of charges or an irrevocable letter of credit will be needed before work begins by ERMU. <br /> e) Provide scheduling for when ERMU can install facilities as we need to be there before other utilities, <br /> including curb and gutter or blacktop,otherwise additional charges will be assessed. <br /> f) ERMU will require the inspection sheet from a licensed electrician or the State Electrical Inspector <br /> before final hook-up. <br /> g) Meters will be banked and located as near as possible to the service entrance switch, and on the <br /> outside of the building so it can be accessible without entering the premises. Apartment building <br /> meter banks may be located in a qualified interior room with prior Utility approval. <br /> 2) WATER <br /> a) Execute Developers agreement with City of Elk River. <br /> b) Provide 3 plat maps with easements and GPS shape files of development. <br /> c) Developer will design with City/Utility approval, water main system within platted area and install the <br /> same per City/Utility specifications. <br /> d) ERMU will sell only one meter per building, of the required size and of the remote read type, for <br /> commercial and industrial service. <br /> e) All street disruption and water access fees must be paid before connecting to the City Water system. <br /> 144 <br />
