TheBPand certainFAST District <br />subzones allowwarehousingasapermitted usewhentheareadedicated to theuseisbelow50% ofthe <br />totalbuilding floorarea, andasaconditionaluseforupto65% ofthetotal buildingfloor area. <br />Thecurrent warehouse limitfortheBPdistrict wasadoptedbytheCityCouncil January22, 2002, and <br />wasanincrease from 30%. Theconcerns withthelimitat thattime, restricted leasingopportunities and <br />desiresformorewarehousing fromthebusiness community, arethesame astoday. TheCityCouncil <br />discussed theincreasing transition toonlinesales, reducingtheneedforstorefront andofficespace and <br />increasingdemandforwarehousing.
