On March 21,2005 Outlot A, Hillside Estates 9th Addition <br />and Outlot B, Hillside Crossing 2 were combined and approved as Zylstra Hatley Davidson <br />Addition. In order to avoid having a parcel with two different land use designations and <br />zoning districts, the land use and zoning for Outlot A has to be changed so that it is <br />consistent with Outlot B, Hillside Crossing 2. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Meeting <br /> <br />At the Planning Commission meeting held on May 24th, two residents spoke at the public <br />hearing. They were concerned about "commercial creep" into the Hillside Estates residential <br />development. It was explained that this item was a housekeeping item to remedy a situation <br />where a property has split zoning and land use designation. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and staff recommend that the City Council approve of the <br />applicant's request to change the land use designation and zoning for Outlot A, Hillside <br />Estates 9th Addition to HB and PUD. <br /> <br />S:\pLANNING\Case Files\2005\LU 05-02 Zylstra\LU05-02CC6-20.doc <br />
