<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />ELK RIVER VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE VILLAGE OFFICE BUILDING <br /> <br />October 24, 1973 at 5:30 PM. <br /> <br />A Special Meeting of the Elk River Village Council was called to order by Mayor Lundberg <br />on October 24, 1973 at 5:30 PM. in the Council Chambers of the Village Office Building. <br />Members were present as follows: Mayor Lundberg, Councilmen, Hudson & Otto. <br /> <br />Village Engineer Wm. Mills and associate Mr. McCorrbs met with the Council and presented <br />the bid tabulation on the Parking Lot Project for Councils review. <br /> <br />Receiving of the bids for the downtown parking lot project was declared closed at 2:00 PM. <br />Oct. 23, 1973 by Bill Mills. Moved by Councilman Otto and seconded by Councilman Hudson <br />to accept and award the lowest bid for the Downtown Parking Lot Project submitted by <br />Severson Excavating CO. at the bid price of $44,999.99 upon the recommendation on <br />tabulation proof of Village Engr. Wm. Mills. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Hudson and seconded by Councilman otto to accept the preliminary asse- <br />ment roll dated Oct. 23, 1973 prepared by Mills Engr. Co. and to authorize the Village Clerk <br />Treasurer to advertise in the Sherburne County Star News of a Assessement Hearing to be <br />held in the Council Chambers of the Village Office Building at 8:00 Pm. Monday <br />November 19, 1973 for the 1973 Street Improvements. Motion unanimously carried by a vote <br />of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Otto and seconded by Councilman Hudson to approve the list of <br />Municipal Liquor Store bills for payment as listed.
