<br /> <br />December 18, 1972 <br /> <br />lines and a hold botton. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Konop and seconded by Councilman Syring approving the re-scheduling tit <br />of the Council meeting dates for the month of January 1973 and instructed the Clerk-Treasurer <br />to advertise in the Sherburne County Star New of the following changes in meeting dates as <br />follows: January 8, 19730and January 22, 1973. Motion unarrunously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Otto that the Churchs be charged for <br />sewer usage at the' minimum commerical rates. Motion unaminously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Syring reported on the high water and sewer usage of Ron's IGA. <br /> <br />Mayor Bartelt reported on the Planning Commission future planned annexsation program and <br />the availabilty of funds to hirer someone to work up this information. <br /> <br />Chief of Police Bob Olson met with the ~ouncil regarding wages and department requests <br />for the year of 1973. Mr. Olson presented the Council with a detailed report for their <br />review. The Council want over the report with Mr. Olson but tabled the matter for the <br />next scheduled Council meeting. <br /> <br />The Council with Chief Olson refiewed the mumerous complaints reported against patrolman <br />Robert Johnson. After discussio:q the Council decided to terminate Patrcolman Robert Johnson <br />employment. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Konop and seconded by CouncilIT4n Syring instructing the Clerk-Treasurer <br />to draft a letter authorizing Chief of Police Bob Olson to terminate Patrolman Robert Johnson <br />of his emplyment as patrolman of the Elk River Police Department to be effective February~ <br />2, 1973. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0. ~ <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the wage recommendations of the Liquor Store Managers for the coming <br />year 1973 final decision was tabled for the next scheduled ~ouncil meeting January 8, 1973. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Otto to approve the list of the <br />Municipal Liquor Store bills for payment as presented. Motion unaminously carried by a vote <br />of 3-0. <br /> <br />l1ayor Bartelt speaking on be half of the Councilmen go on record thanking Counciimanof service <br />VJ"illiam J.
