Motion unaminously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Lloyd Barthel met with the Council and requested funds to replace equipment <br />that was damaged during the fire at the 1st National Bank Building. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Otto wuthorizing the expenditure <br />of $225.00 to replace damaged equipment and a air tank for the Elk River Fire Department <br />motion unaminously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seonded by Councilman otto accept and approve the <br />certificate of correction to the plot of Upland Heights submitted by John Oliver. <br />Motion unaminously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />The Council authorized John MacGibbion, Village Attorney to negotiate with the Wright <br />County Attorney regarding plotting of lands within the 2 mile radius of the Village of <br />Elk River limits for the possible purpose of test case to our Sub-Division Ord. <br /> <br />The Council denied Richard Smith proprietor of the Elk Point Clubs request to have <br />Go Go Dancers in his place of business. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilman Robert Syring will ~estigatethe cost to contract with Anoka for impounding <br />of the Village of Elk River dogs. <br /> <br />The Council set the hourly rate of $2.75 for the General Election Judges and approved the <br />selection of judge as follows: P.G. Kilmartin, William Greupner, Bernice Carlson, Mrs. Kil- <br />martin, Helen Byson, Y~s. Leonard Kokott, Kenneth Nelson, Tim Thompson, Don Norris and <br />the Clerk-TreasurEr to supervise the counting. and Leonard Kokott, Bill Konop, and Rolland Boll <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Syring and seconded by CO'~ncilmanOtto invoking the penalty clause <br />of 10 days at the rate of $50.00 per day totaling $500.00 under the contract with <br />A.N.
