Bill Mills Village Engineer reviewed these costs and stated that 2,360 yards @ $1.50 per yard would be needed the cost,per yard of fill was based on present prices. It was also requested that a 2 hour parallel parking be zoned for the South side of Sherburne County #12 (Main Street fbnl Lowell Ave. to the East Exit of Andys Alley. No other affected property owners appeared and the Public Hearing for the 1972 Street Improvements was adjonneq. Moved by Councilman Hudson and seconded by Councilman Syring that a 2hour parallel parking be zoned for the South,smde of Sherburne County #12 (Main Street) from Lowell Avenue to the East Exit of Andys; Alley, .Village of Elk River, Minnesota. Motion unaminously carried by a vote of 3-0. The Clerk-Treasurer ,was instructed to draft a letter to the Sherburne County Zoning Administrator requesting the 2 hours parallel parking zoning change. The Council discussed the request for a PA System type speaker for the squad car, it was felt that a standard weather proof type of speaker would be more feasible.
