<br /> <br /> <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br /> <br />Resolution 19-____ <br /> <br />A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Elk River Finding <br />that the Acquisition and Conveyance of Certain Property by the City of Elk <br />River is in Compliance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Elk River (“City”) has proposed to acquire <br />approximately 74,481 square feet of real property legally described in Exhibit A from <br />Independent School District No. 728 (“District”) for expansion of the City’s ice arena in <br />exchange for approximately 31,381 square feet of City property legally described in Exhibit <br />B for District parking lot improvements (“Land Exchange”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Land Exchange proposed has been submitted to the Planning <br />Commission for its review and issuance of a written report of its finding pursuant to Minn. <br />Stat. § 462.356, subd. 2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed Land Exchange as it <br />relates to the City’s Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota, that the Land Exchange is found to be consistent with the City’s <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 25th day of June, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Eric Johnson, Chair <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Jennifer Green, Secretary <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
