Dan Greene <=>nd ~l Froehlich, local insur~nce agents, ~ere present regarding the pack<>ge insurpnce proposals. DP.n Greene, representing First National egency, presented his se~led proposal. Mr. Froelich, representing First state 6gena,y, reported that he has no proposal to present. His unde~riters do not feel it is the right ~pproach and it is net a standard practice in smaller municipalities. After discussion, it ~aS decided to extend acceptance of the package insurance proposals until our next meeting and that no further propospls ~ill be accepted as a package deal a.:f'ter our Nov. 15, 1971 meeting. Moved by CounciL"Mn Syring and seconded by Council1J1pn Otto, to adopt the resolution concurred by the Utilities Commission in providing for the issuance and sale of $1,015,000 Electric Revenue Bonds of 1971. Motion unaminc>usly carried. t>. copy of the resolution is attached. John M~cGibbon, reported that a private club or organization can not be issued a offsp le beer license. This ~8.S in reference to a request received from the Eagles Club for a off sale license. Mr. & ~~s. Wm. Toth were present regarding the ~~lrupe property; They were advised th~t no reports 'have been received from the He~lth Officer, Fire Chief or Fire }~rshall, although they have been contacted. These reports will be available for our Nov. 15, 1971 meeting. MacGibbon advised that the complainants can file a citizens complaint and the court ~ould then rrmke a decision.. A special meeting waS scheduled for 7:30 pm, Monday Nov. ??, 1971, with John MacGibbon, for codification of the village ordinances. .A personal interview ~ith Duane Theisen, applicant for the position of Village Clerk-Treasurer; WaS held. , A special meeting '\.<'I'IS scheduled for 5:30 pm, Wednesday Nov. 3, 1971, to hold a personal interview ~ith Darrell Sykes, applicant for the position of Village Clerk- Treasurer /'lnd ~~th D:>rrell Mpck, applicant for the position of ,street maintenance man.
