<br />Next, the Council met 't<d.th Ken Glover representing the Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Hudson and seconded by Councilman otto to allow the Chamber <br />of Commerce to conduct activities at the Fourth of July celebration in Elk River. <br />Motion unaminously carried. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Hudson and seconded by Councilman Otto to accept the contract <br />for the Architectual services rended by Peter Racchinni and Associates for the <br />proposed fire station, fee to be 8% of construction cost and a mileage allowance <br />of 1.3~ per mile travel expense duririg the construction phase. Motion unaminous- <br />ly carried. <br /> <br />') <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Hudson and seconded by Councilman Otto to hold a public <br />meeting regarding the proposed fire station building at 8:00pm July 14, 1971 at <br />the Village Office and to hold an election asking for $112,000.00 Bond issue to <br />finance the building and equipping of a new fire station and acquiring a site <br />therefor, as per the plans submitted by our architect, Peter Racchinnio and <br />Associates, election to be held at the ~illage offices on July 20, 1971. , <br />copy of the resolution" is attached. Motion unaminously carried. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Otto and seconded by Councilman Konop to call a Public <br />/ Hearing for proposed street improvements at 8:.30 pm, July 19, 1971 at the Village <br />Hall. Motion unaminously carried.
